Help: Guild Wars and Steam
If I buy Guild Wars Trilogy on Steam, will I have to start Steam everytime I want to play GW (that would be really annoying since I don't use Steam) or can I just use the activation key on the GW Trial I already have installed and play normally without installing Steam on my computer?
Thanks in advance. |

You just use Steam to get the key. After that, you just start GW normally. No need for Steam after purchase.

Adding the keys to an account will enable their content, no matter how you got em. So no, you won't need to start GW from Steam.

Don't purchase the game from steam unless you intend to use it with Steam, Guild Wars at Walmart, EBGames, Newegg, NCIX, Zellers, Target, etc is bound to be cheaper.

-Steam -NCSoft online market On both stores GW Trilogy costs 30 dolars. If I even try to get it from some local store (in the strange event I can even find it) it will cost at least twice that money, probably more. |
